HDC’s principle on Branding & Promotions is based on the following:

Halal in actual fact is a way of life; it promotes a healthy lifestyle by how we eat, live and the way we do business. We promote the school of thought of ‘Halal stands for fair business transaction, caring for animals and the environment, social justice and welfare.

The ‘Halal Malaysia’ campaign will run in tandem with branding efforts which will include food and non-food products, finance, services, travel and tourism. The country’s ‘Malaysian Halal Week’ comprising of The World Halal Forum and Malaysian International Halal Showcase (MIHAS) will be the catalyst to reinstate the integrity of ‘Halal Malaysia’ and strengthen the overall development of Halal industry.

Several promotional programmes have been formulated which include TV campaigns, events, public relations and advertising on Halal. International Seminars and National Road shows will be continued to increase public awareness on ‘Halal’ and HDC’s role in the development of the Halal industry.
