The HALAL ChampionTM programme is an initiative by HDC to give due recognition to companies that have demonstrated a commitment towards promoting Halal products and services. Under the programme, selected companies that meet the eligibility criteria will be recognized as Malaysia’s HALAL ChampionTM and will become a select community of national brand ambassadors for Malaysia in the global market for Halal products and services.
For 2007, the HALAL ChampionTM programme will be by invitation only. However, it is HDC’s aim to open the HALAL ChampionTM programme to all Malaysian incorporated companies starting from 2008.
