The Halal Industry Development Corporation, or HDC, has created a range of Halal Training Programmes to increase the level of understanding on Halal and develop a pool of resources within the Halal industry. This is in line to support Malaysia's vision of becoming a preferred global hub for Halal products and services.
The programmes cater to all target audiences, ranging from general public to people in the industry, both Muslims and non-Muslims - basically anyone with an interest to learn more about Halal.
The comprehensive Training Programmes cover the Syariah aspects, Halal certification process, Halal market, Halal food & consumerism as well as food safety and quality.
All courses under the HDC Halal Training Programme are claimable under the Human Resource Development Fund (HRDF) Training Scheme. This simply means that all companies (including SME, Private Listed companies, Public Listed companies and multinational companies) which contribute to the HRDF under Pembangunan Sumber Manusia Berhad (PSMB) can apply for the training grants under various schemes provided by PSMB.
HDC provides on-site training that can be tailored to your business' specific needs and requirements. This is an ideal opportunity to have a personalized training programme conducted at your own premises, which makes great economic sense. The following courses are available:
