The premier of Halal World is on 17th November 2011 (Thursday) and to be aired every Thursday at 7.30 pm on NTV7. The host of this fascinating TV series is Wardina Safiyah, a prominent host for talk shows and TV programmes.

Halal World is Halal Industry Development Corporation’s (HDC) first TV programme. Featured in 13 episodeds, the 30 minutes per episode covers the overall Halal industry in the country and features the identified clusters. The TV series also feature the industry players, related agencies and ministries.

The main objective of Halal World is to capture the attention of the mass by providing significant amount of information in an actual and perceived halal industry – Halal Means Business, and to increase acceptance as well as awareness of HDC’s roles and services. The programme collects opinions and advices from the country leaders, government departments and agencies leaders, Halal industry development experts and leaders from corporate, SMEs, industrial that committed and supported the development of national Halal agenda.

In addition, it also highlights further development of Halal products, processes, services and standards relevant for Halal industry.
